Call for Papers
Sixteenth Biennial Conference of the American Council for Québec Studies
Québec et les autres: 400 years of interactions

November 13-16, 2008
Call for papers - deadline April 1, 2008.
The Program Chair, Dr. David Massell, welcomes submissions pertaining to the conference theme and to all topics relevant to the study of North American francophone history, society, and culture.
Paper proposals:
To submit a proposal, send the title and a brief abstract (no more than 200 words) of your paper, along with your full name, institutional affiliation (program or department and school), a complete mailing (postal) address and your e-mail address.
Panel proposals:
To submit a proposal for a panel, follow the instructions above and include names, affiliations, addresses (postal and electronic), and paper titles or topics for each participant, as well as a suggested label for the session.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a call for regular panels, not for keynote or plenary sessions. Speakers on these panels will be regular participants at the conference and will not receive honorarium, travel grants, registration waivers, etc.

Submissions and presentations may be made either in English or en français. Include any audio-visual requests in the proposal.
Presenters at the biennial conference must be members of ACQS and must register for the conference. The deadline for contributions to the program is April 1, 2008.
